RFID Tag
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. An RFID tag consists of a tiny radio transponder; a radio receiver and transmitter. When triggered by an electromagnetic interrogation pulse from a nearby RFID reader device, the tag transmits digital data, usually an identifying inventory number, back to the reader. This number can be used to inventory goods. There are two types. Passive tags are powered by energy from the RFID reader’s interrogating radio waves. Active tags are powered by a battery and thus can be read at a greater range from the RFID reader; up to hundreds of meters. Unlike a barcode, the tag doesn’t need to be within the line of sight of the reader, so it may be embedded in the tracked object. RFID is one method of automatic identification and data capture. (Reference from AIDC).
RFID tag could be used in many applications, such as hospitality, restaurant, logistic, warehouse, apparel, etc. Each application has different requirements on the tags.

Besides, if you need to customize the shape of the antenna, we can also design the antenna for you exactly as per your requirements. Various shapes of RFID tags are also available.
Available Chip for RFID Tag
Nexqo is an official partner of NXP, we provide authentic RFID chips from LF to UHF;
Such as Hitag 1, Hitag 2, MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE DESFire EV1 2K/4K/8K, NTAG 424 TT, UCODE DNA, etc.
Main feature for LF, HF and UHF;
LF: Stable, short reading range, normally used for identification
HF: Short reading range (longer than LF), supports encoding and encryption, suitable for payment, high security identification, financial, anti-counterfeiting, etc.
UHF: Long reading range but not stable, anti-collision, suitable for logistic or warehouse management, etc.
Available Crafts for RFID Tag
Printing is not necessary for RFID tags, but if you need logo, barcode, numbering, QR code or any personalized information to be printed, we will recommend a suitable material for your tag accordingly.
For example:
Silicone tag could be silkscreen printed, laser engraved or debossed
PPS can be laser engraved only. If you need logo printing, we will need to order a mould with the logo debossed or embossed.
PVC is available for making all kinds of amazing crafts, click here to learn more.
